~ Mardi Gras Links April Star ~

Star is a Shadow Oaks Paul Bunyan granddaughter who was a Reserve National Grand Champion Senior Stallion and prolific Sire of Multiple National Champion Get.  Star's sire was Hidden Meadows Missing Link...a loudly marked Sorrel Appaloosa who produced many beautiful colored foals for Mardi Gras Farm.  This beautiful mare trots level in the field.  Her foals have ALL inherited the movement of their dam and sire combined!

Star just blessed us with a beautiful bay roan filly, Greenwood Acres More Candy Please, by Cherokee Stables own National Champion Stallion...NFC's Candy Dandy   who is a own son of Rhoten's Little Dandy and grandson of Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King.

Star has produced two bay roans, a silver bay pinto and a beautiful moving dark bay when bred to NFC's Candy Dandy who is a bay roan pinto.  Bred to a 26" brown blanketed appaloosa, she produced a exact duplicate of the sire, small, correct and colorful, now owned by Tony Greaves, Little America Farm in Texas.  She has produced 4 fillys and 1 colt

NEWS FLASH...April Star is ultrasound in foal to our AMHA 2004 World Champion, Reserve National Champion Single Pleasure Driving stallion Flights of Fancys Great Expectations...for an early spring baby!
