2002 AMHA Reserve National Champion Amateur Country Pleasure Driving
This beautiful true black and white
pinto Mare has quite a tale -- she's our Cinderella Story! We
purchased her in the late 1990s to be simply a pet and gave her the barn
name of "Oreo." We showed quarter horses at the time and thought she'd
be a nice novelty to take on the circuit. Well...were we surprised
when we started driving her!
Turns out this mare was a dynamite package wrapped tight. Not only did she boast a regal pedigree, being a Komokos Little King Supreme granddaughter herself, she was also destined to be a driving horse and gifted with exceptional movement. Oreo has a heart the size of Texas and we relied on her to introduce us to the AMHA horse crowd. It was almost as though she felt an obligation to ensure we would enjoy showing. During the past 3 years, she has taken the Greenwoods into several winner's circles. In 2002, she kept her promise by driving Lisa into the 2002 AMHA National winner's circle!
Oreo's 2002 accomplishments earned her the title of
"Queen of Greenwood Acres"
